Highway 440 turns sharply south at the southern entrance to Lanai City and it ends at the Manele Small Boat Harbor and Ferry Port. Manele Road is a section of Hawaii State Route 440. It extends south from Lanai City. It connects that town with the south coast of Lanai Island, which includes the ultra-luxury beach resort area at Hulopoe Bay and the ferry port and small boat harbor at Manele Bay. The southeast section of Highway 440 is known as Manele Road. it connects Lanai City with the south coast of the island, including port for the Maui Lanai Ferry, Hulopoe Beach, and the the ultra-luxury Four Seasons resort at Manele Bay.
