This Hawaii plate lunch favorite is bone-in chicken pieces baked in a sweet sauce flavored with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Ingredients
InstructionsBring soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, water, ginger, anise, garlic and scallion to a boil. Lower heat and let simmer for 2 minutes. Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in a large baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Remove chicken pieces from sauce and arrange on a platter. Skim the fat off the sauce. Mix cornstarch with water and add to sauce as a thickener. When sauce has thickened, pour over chicken and serve with rice. Resources(to be added) Collection of Recipes From Hawaii
