- 1 cup of golden raisins
- 1/2 cup of dried currents
- 1/2 cup of dried apricots, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of candied cherries, chopped
- 1/2 cup candied orange and lemon peel
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Other Ingredients
- 1 cup + 1 tablespoon of flour
- 2 cups of butter
- 1 cup of soft brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of molasses
- Grated rind of 1 orange
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon of mace
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup of sherry or brandy
- Peach or apricot wine for soaking cake
- 10 inch round, 4 inch deep baking pan
