The cookbooks published by the Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO) aree a benefit project to raise funds to support the Aloha United Way. The cookbooks feature recipes contributed by Hawaiian Electric Company employees, retirees, family and friends and they usually cost between $10 and $12 USD when they are first released. In 1991 HECO published a cookbook called "100 Years of Island Cooking" and between 2005 and 2008 they published volumes 1 through 4 of "A Taste to Remember". The cookbook was renamed "A Taste of HECO" in 2009. 2008 and 2009 HECO Cookbooks
