Annual Maui festival honoring the memory of Hawaiian Princess Kaiulani

a fashion show featuring gowns of the Monarchy period, and live music.
the 2009 Princess Kaiulani Festival took place on Saturday, October 17, 2009
at Haleakala Waldorf School in Kula, Maui.
Lahaina Banyan Tree Hoolaulea
The 2009 Lahaina Banyan Tree Hoolaulea will take place
October 11, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event
will feature live entertainment provided by the Air Force
Band of the Pacific and others, an arts and crafts show,
and a hula show. Admission is free.
Festivals of Aloha on Maui
The Festivals of Aloha replaced the Aloha Festivals
events in Maui County after the Aloha Festivals stopped
funding events on the outer islands. The Festivals of Aloha
is an umbrella event featuring several events in the
remote east Maui town of Hana.
Maui County Fair
The 87th Annual Maui County Fair will
take place October 1-4, 2009 at the
Wailuku War Memorial Complex in Central Maui.
The fair features exhibits, carnival rides, children's games,
a large food court, live entertainment, a talent
contest, a chili eating contest, and the Maui
County Fair Parade.
Maui Orchid Society Show
The 2009 Maui Orchid Society Show will take place at the
Maui County Fairgrounds in Wailuku October 1-4, 2009.
The event will feature Orchid growing lectures and
demonstrations and many varieties of orchids displayed and sold.
Maui PrimeTime Wellness Fair
The 2009 Maui PrimeTime Wellness Fair presented by the
First Hawaiian Bank will take place October 8, 2009
at the Wailuku Community Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 12;30 p.m.

XTERRA Off Road Triathlon World Championships
Includes two events, the XTERRA Maken Beach Trail Run on a Saturday
and the XTERRA Off Road Triathlon World Championships on a Sunday.
the 2009 XTERRA Off Road Triathlon Weekend will take place
October 24-25, 2009 at Makena in South Maui.
Aloha Team Classic Golf Tournament
Annual golf tournament weekend that includes a 3 day
golf tournament held on three different golf courses,
special evening events on three nights, and breakfast
and lunch each day. The 2009 Aloha Team Classes will
take place October 18-21, 2009.
