Restaurants in Maalaea

Information about cafes and restaurants in the harbor community and resort town of Maalaea, Maui.

Buzz's Wharf Restaurant
This restaurant above the Maalaea Boat Club in Maalaea Harbor was opened in 1967 by Jerry and Eileen MacDonald. The restaurant describes their food as "American cuisine with and island flavor". The menu features items such as shrimp, steak, crab legs, clams, oysters, fresh fish specials, clam chowder, and onion soup. For reservations or more information call the restaurant at 808-244-5426

Maalaea Grill
This casual dining restaurant at 300 Maalaea Road has beautiful views of Maalaea Bay and it has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The menu features island style salads, sandwiches, chicken, beef, pasta, and fish prepared a variety of different ways. For reservations or more information call the restaurant at 808-243-2206.

Waterfront Restaurant
This fine dining restaurant inside the ? condominium building has beautiful views of Maalaea Bay and Maalaea Harbor. The menu features items such as fish prepared many different ways, prawns, vegetarian dishes, onion soup, and lobster chowder. Located at 50 Hauoli Street. For more information call the restaurant at 808-244-9028.

Seascape Maalaea Restaurant
The Seascape Restaurant inside the Maui Ocean Center aquarium is open for lunch and it has beautiful views of Maalaea Harbor. Their menu features entrees such as grilled tuna with lobster and mushrooms, fish and chips, mahi mahi tacos, seafood pasta, chicken and broccoli pasta, cashew chicken, and vegetarian dishes. The Maui Ocean Center also has a casual dining snack shop called the Reef Cafe. For more information about either of the Maui Ocean Center restaurants call 808-270-7043.

Hula Cookies and Ice Cream
This cookie shop at Maalaea Harbor was established in 1999 and they feature Maui-made, soft chewy cookies with island style ingredients such as macadamia nuts, papaya, ginger, Kona coffee, mango, and pineapple Their shop is located on the 2nd floor of 300 Maalaea Road and their cookies can also be mail-ordered on their Web site.
