West Maui Luaus
Drums of the Pacific Luau
(Hyatt Regency Maui)
The luau at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa
is called the "Drums of the Pacific Luau" but it is
also sometimes known as the "Maui Hyatt Regency Luau" or
the "Maui Hyatt Luau". The luau includes a shell lei and mai tai cocktail greeting,
Hawaiian music and dancing, demonstrations of traditional arts
and crafts, a torch lighting ceremony, imu ceremony,
a Polynesian fashion show, a buffet dinner,
an open drink bar, and a dessert bar. The Drums of the
pacific Luau takes place outdoors on the resort's Sunset Terrace.
About $100 for adults over age 21, about $60 for age 13-20,
about $50 for children age 6-12, and age 5 and under get in free.

Feast at Lele
(Lahaina)
This Luau has been operating since 1999 and it
is a partnership between the Old Lahaina Luau
and the award winning 'O and Pacific 'O
restaurants. With a seating capacity of 160,
the Feast at Lele is smaller then the Old Lahaina Luau,
and it differs also in that it showcases the
food and entertainment of several South Pacific islands
including Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. Guests of
the Feast at Lele, are seated at tables with candles and
white linens and a multiple course meal is served by waiters.
Each course is based on the food of a different Hawaiian
nation, island, and as it is served, music and dances
from that island are performed. The Feast at Lele is
more of a elegant night on the town then a traditional luau,
and as such, it appeals to adults looking for a
romantic evening out. On the beach at
505 Front Street in Lahaina.
Price for adults is about $110 and children
age 2-12 are $80.

Kaanapali Sunset Luau at Black Rock
(Sheraton Maui)
the Luau at the Sheraton Maui Resort and spa at
Kaanapali beach is called the "Kaanapali Sunset
Luau at Black Rock" or sometimes the "Maui
Sunset Luau", the "Black Rock Luau" or the
Kaanapali Beach Luau".
It is a beachfront luau with
a buffet dinner and entertainment
presented by Tihati Productions.
Adults are about $90,
children age 6-12 about $45 and
children age 5 and under are free.

Old Lahaina Luau
(Lahaina Cannery Waterfront)
This award winning luau is located in Lahaina, on an acre of
land on the oceanside of the Lahaina Cannery at 1251 Front Street.
Upon arriving at the luau grounds, guests are greeted with a fresh
flower lei, a tropical drink, and a souvenir program. Then they escorted
to their assigned seats, and introduced to the Luau grounds,
where arts and crafts are on display, professional photographers
are available, and Hawaiian music is played.
The Imu oven is opened, and then dinner is served. Salad
and dessert is served by waiters, and the main dinner is
served buffet style. As the sun sets, the Hawaiian show
begins. It covers the history of Hawaiian, including dances
and performances based on the migration of Polynesians to Hawaii, the chants of the
ancient Hawaiians, the Hawaiian Kingdom, the arrival of the missionaries,
and the modern hula.
All seating is reserved, and guests can select Hawaiian
style mat seating or conventional tables and chairs

Royal Lahaina Luau
(Royal Lahaina Hotel))
takes place in the hotel's Kaanapali oceanfront
Luau Gardens. Includes a shell lei greeting,
arts and crafts demonstrations, an open bar,
imu presentation, buffet dinner, a children's
buffet, and a Polynesian show ending with
a fire dance and a grand finale featuring
all of the performers in the he show.
Adults are about $70 and one child
age 11 or under is free with each paying adult.

Wailele Polynesian Luau
(Westin Maui)
The luau at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa
is called the "Wailele Polynesian Luau" but
it is also known as the "Maui Westin Luau",
and the "Westin Maui Luau". It takes place once
a week at the resort's Aloha Pavilion and it features a four
course dinner planed by the resort's executive chef,
served family style. The luau also includes an
open bar, Polynesian and Hawaiian culture
demonstrations and crafts, and a Polynesian show.
Also includes free shuttle service from
the Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas and the
Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa. For reservations

South Maui Luaus
Maui Sunset Luau at Makena
(Maui Prince Hotel)
The luau at the Maui Prince Hotel is called
the "Maui Sunset Luau at Makena". This luau
is also sometimes called the "Drums at Makena Luau",
because the Polynesian show that is part of the event
is called "Drums at Makena".
the menu includes Hawaiian food and other
items such as chicken, and vegetables.
The Drums of Makena show includes
native performers from several different South
Pacific island groups. When you arrive at this
luau you can have a cocktail, and walk around the ground.
Later there is an imu ceremony, and then a buffet

Honuaula: Return to Sacred lands Luau
(Wailea Beach Marriott)
The official name of the luau at the Wailea beach Marriott
Resort and spa is ""Honuaula: Return to the Sacred Lands Luau"
but it is also known as the "Wailea Luau",
the "Wailea Beach Luau", and the "Wailea Beach Marriott Luau".
It features Hawaiian games and crafts,
a torch lighting and conch shell ceremony,
a luau style buffet dinner, and a Polynesian
show with Hawaiian music and hula dancing.
The Wailea Beach Marriott's luau is
called "Honuaula: Return to the Sacred Lands".

Former Maui Luaus
Kaanapalu Beach Hotel Luau
At one time the Kaanapal Beach hotel had a luau
and while I am not 100% certain, I that was the luau commonly
known as the "Kaanapali Beach Luau". That luau was suppose
to be a good one for families and poeople on a budget
because tickets for adults were $59 and one child could
get in free with each paying adult.
