2007 Lanai Aloha Festival
The 2007 Lanai Aloha Festival took place
August 25 through September 22, 2007. That year the
Aloha Festival events were held place at Koele in
upcountry Lanai, in Dole Park, and in the Lanai
City Town Square.
Royal Court Blessing and Church Service
There was a special Aloha Festival Sunday service
at the Ka Lokahi Oka Malama Hawaiian Protestant Church at Koele
at 9:00 a.m. on August 25, 2007. There was also be a blessing
on the grounds of the church that day for the Aloha Festivals
Royal Court, the committee members, the volunteers, and
other festival participants.
Opening Ceremonies and Celebration
The opening ceremonies for the Lanai Aloha Festival
took place on Friday, September 21, 2007 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Dole Park.
The event featured the open ceremony for the
Lanai Aloha Festival followed by live entertainment,
games, arts and crafts, and food booths.
Lanai Aloha Festivals Parade
Thee was a parade in Lanai City at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday,
September 22, 2007. the Parade began at Iwiole, continue on Lanai Avenue,
and end at Lanai Dole Park and the Lanai City Town Square.
Lanai Hoolaulea
The 2007 Lanai Aloha Festivals Hoolaulea was a
celebration held in Dole Park on Saturday,
September 22 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m.
