2009 Halloween Events on Kauai

Halloween Cornfield Maze
Every other year the Kauai Christian Fellowship Church in Koloa presents a Halloween cornfield maze, and it is confirmed it will happen again in 2009. More information will be posted here soon, but in the meantime you can contact the Kauai Christian Fellowship Church at 808-742-9396.

Hanapepe Spook Night
In past years there has been a special event on or near Halloween night in Hanapepe Town Park on the southwest coast of Kauai. The event usually begins with an afternoon costume parade and continues into the evening with a haunted house at the Storybook Theatre. I will post information about the 2009 event as soon as event details are announced.

Kukui Grove Center's 2009 Halloween Festival
Special guests at the Kukui Grove's 2009 Halloween Festival include Augie T and Ron Wiley. The 2009 festival will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Halloween. and activities will include a Howl and Growl Contest, a family Halloween contest, prizes, and a Halloween trick-or-treating Parade from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for children age 2 through 12. The Kukui Grove Spooky Cool Haunted House will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Halloween.

More Halloween Events at Kauai Shopping Malls
Large shopping malls and smaller shopping centers often host Halloween trick-or-treating and other Halloween festivities. You can find out if any Kauai Shopping Centers will have special Halloween events by viewing the events page on their official Web sites. You can also phone or email Kauai Shopping centers to find out if they will have special events for kids on Halloween:

    Annual Halloween Biker Run
    The 3rd Annual Halloween Biker Run and Monster Mash Biker Bash took place on Sunday, October 25, 2009 and about 50 motorcycle riders participated. Riders dressed in Halloween costumes and met at 9:00 a.m. at the Big Save Store in Lihue. The Motorcycles left Lihue about 10:00 a.m. and rode to the North Shore and back. They finished off the day with a bikers party at Rob's Goodtimes Grill on Rice Street in Lihue that featured food, a Halloween costume contest, and prizes.
