Lihue 4th of July Concert and Fireworks
(East Kauai)
Every year there is a U.S. Independence Day festival,
concert, and fireworks display at the Vidinha Soccer Field
i the East Kauai town of Lihui that is also a fundraiser
for the Kauai Hospice Facility. The event features a fun
zone for kids, food booths, live music, and an aerial
fireworks display. The 20th Annual Concert in the Sky Kauai 4th of
July Celebration
will take place on July 4th 2009 at the Vidinha Stadium in Lihue.

Kekaha 4th of July Celebration
(West Kauai)
The 2009 Kekahha Town 4th of July Ceberation began on Friday, July 3, 2009
at 5:00 p.m. and the Saturday festivities begaan at 6:00 a.m.. All of
the activities took place at either the Kekaha Neighborhood Center
or H.P. Faye Ballpark in Kekaha. Activities included live music,
arts and crafts booths, food booths, cultural displays, family games,
and a grand finale fireworks display after dark. For more information

The event in 2009 was the 2nd Annual Kekaha 4th of July Celebration.
Kauai Fire Department (Kauai Fireworks Permits)
The Kauai County Fire Department is the issuing body
for fireworks permits on the island of Kauai. For
information about Kauai fireworks permits and regulations
