The 2007 Don Ho Memorial Golf Tournamant was held on August 13, 2007 (Don Ho's birthday) to raise funds for a memorial statue of Don Ho sitting at his electric organ and a plaque to mount on the statue. The statue was to be located in Don Ho Park, the new name of the triangle point of Kalakaua and Beachwalk Avenues.

Don Ho died April 14, 2007 at the age of 76.
