NAME: Alii Beach Park
Alii Beach is located on Oahu's north shore, between the Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor and Kaiaka Beach in Haleiwa Town. The park has a large grassy area, a narrow white sand beach, picnic tables, restrooms, showers, and lifeguards most of the time. Alii Beach is a popular spot for surfing because there are several large breaks offshore. and the waves can be as high as 25 feet during the winter big wave months. Surfig spots include "Off the Walls" and "Rock Piles". Swimming and Bodyboarding at Alii Beach The waves on the beach are usually not large, but there are rip currents and rocks that can make swimming dangerous. The safest place for swimming is the sheltered section on the far east end of the beach because it is somewhat protected by the harbor breakwater.
