Taxis are plentiful and can get you from one point to another in no time. Or, if two wheeled vehicles are preferred, there are a number of companies that rent mopeds, motorcycles and bicycles.

There are three major freeways on the island and hundreds of connecting highways and thoroughfares. To get better acquainted with Oahu’s roads, east is commonly called the Diamond Head direction; west is called the Ewa direction; Ma Uka is toward the mountain; and Ma Kai is toward the ocean.

The stunning beauty of the island can be enjoyed through the air by seaplane, helicopter or glider ride.
