Hawaiian Human Society
The Hawaiian Human Society was founded in 1897 and its mission is to promote the humane treatment of all living creatures. They operate a shelter for homeless animals, rescue animals in trouble, find homes for animals, run an animal advocacy program, and operate a pet care resource center. Based at 2700 Waialae Avenue in Honolulu.

Hawaii SPCA
Their mission: Reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized in Hawaii by implementing successful adoption programs and aggressive spay and neuter programs and by promoting responsible pet ownership. Based at 87-120 Kaukamana Street i9n Waianae.
