Islands of the French Frigate Shoals

of the French Frigate Shoals in the Northwest Hawaiian Islands.
Volcanic pinnacle in the French Frigate Shoals that is one of the oldest and most remote volcanic rock in the Hawaiian Islands. It was named after Comte de La Perouse who visited the French Frigate Shoals in 1786. The pinnacle is about 120 feet tall and it is surrounded by coral reefs. A second rocket islet near the La Perouse Pinnacle is around 5 or 10 feet tall.
