Molokai Ferry Shut Down in 2016
The Hawaii Ocean Project's Molokai Ferry provided regularly scheduled water transportation between Maui Island and Molokai island. When the ferry was operating it crossed the channel twice a day between the Maui town of Lahaina and the Kaunakakai Harbor in the Molokai town of Kaunakakai. The trip took about 90 minutes each way and the round trip fare was about $120. Resources
