The Halawa Valley is located on the east side of Molokai Island. The valley is a popular spot for hiking and the beaches on the edge of Halawa Bay are popular for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and kayaking.

Driving Directions From Kaunakakai:
Drive east on Highway 450 all the way to the end. Toward the end of this beautiful drive, the road becomes very narrow and winding.

Halawa Valley Falls Cultural Hike
Cultural presentation followed by a 3.4 mile round trip guided hike into the Halawa Valley> Hikes are led by Anakala Pilipo Solatorio or his son Gregory Kawaimaka Solatorio.
Distance: 1.7 miles each way (3.4 miles total)
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Note: Your feet will get wet. Wear good hiking shoes (No slippers)
Note: Two river crossings, roots, rocks, mud, trees
Note: Minimum of two people
