Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge
700 acre United States national wildlife refuge established in 1992l.
Features include a boardwalk trail
open seven days a week and a visitor's center open Monday through Friday.
One of the refuges in the Maui National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
The refuge entrance is off Maui Veterans Highway (Route 311).

Haycraft County Park
6.5 acre oceanfront park managed by Maui County.
Activities include having picnics and swimming, but
note that the park does not have a lifeguard.
Facilities include two picnic tables, two barbecue grills,
one outdoor shower, one water fountain, portable toilets,
and a parking lot with 10 spaces.
Located at 399 Hauoli Street in Maalaea Town.
Lahaina pali Trailhead (PDF)
The west trailhead for this 4.3 mile out-and-back
hiking trail is located about 3 miles west of Maalaea Harbor.
That trailhead's parking area is acessible from Highway
30 at Manawaipueo Gulch and about 0.25 miles north of the Pali Tunnel.
Puu Hele Cinder Pit
Located near Honoapiilani Highway and and Kuihelani Highway.
