Lanai City Visitor's Guide
An introduction to Lanai City for visitors to the island of Lanai in Hawaii.
Lanai City is the only town on Lanai Island.
It is situated in the interior, forested upcountry region of the island,
at an elevation of approximately 1,650 feet above sea level.
The town's elevation makes it cooler than tha coastal regions of Lanai Island.
It was built as a plantation town in 1924 and today it looks much as it did
during the plantation era.
