The Hotel Lanai is a charming, 11 room hotel in the central highlands of the island of Lanai, in Lanai City. All rooms have a private bathroom, ceiling fans, and hardwood floors. The hotel's rooms have ceiling fans, hardwood floors, and Hawaiian-style furnishings, quilts, and artwork. The rooms have private bathrooms and showers, but no bath tub or television. The hotel's cottage has one bedroom, a television, a DVD player, a hammock, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. A continental breakfast is included in the room rates and it is served every morning in the hotel lobby. Transportation to and from the Lanai Airport is available for a fee. Note that the hotel's rooms are small and not particularly sound-proof but the building and property are historic, charming, and centrally located near shops and restaurants. The Lanai units share a furnished deck facing Dole Park. All of the units feature artwork by local Lanai City artist Mike Carroll.
