Lanai Visiting Artists Program Events

The Lanai Visiting Artists Program was established in December of 1992 to give give Lanai visitors and residents opportunities to meet and interact with distinguished authors, chefs, musicians, filmmakers and other fine artists in an accessible, living room like atmosphere.

About the Lanai Visiting Artist Program
VENUES: Four Seasons Resorts at Manele and Koele
PROGRAM ESTABLISHED: 1992
- Was the idea of a mainland luxury travel company and the Lanai Company
- Brought mainland artists, writers, and musicians to Lanai's two luxury resorts (Manele and Koele)
- Organized monthly arts events on the island of Lanai
- Featureed distinguished artists in maby fields who performed and interacted with guests.
- Arts: culinary, dramatic, film, literary, music, and visual arts
- Events were sponsored by Castle & Cooke Resorts, LLC. Island Air and Happy Vacations (Happy Vacations filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in April of 2009)

2003 October 11-12 LVAP Event
The October 2003 Lanai Visiting Artist Program event featured a cooking demonstration and dinner prepared by executive Chef Tim Goodell of the Whist and Aubergine Restaurants in Southern California.
