Seventeenth Hole
The Koele Golf Course's 17th hole was nestled in the deepest gorge on Lanai Island and it had a spectacular 200-footdrop in elevation from tee to green.

About Closure of the Koele Golf Course
It was announce din April of 2014 that Jack Nicklaus would eb redesigning the golf course at the Koele Lodge. The Lodge at Koele closed in 2015 to house construction workers renovationg the Four Seasons Hotel at Hulopoe Bay. In January of 2017 it was announced that the Koele Golf Course was permanently closed.
