Information about Hawaii Belt Roacd on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The Hawaii Belt Road is a modern name of the Mamalahoa Highway on Hawaii Island. The Belt Road is really a complex of three Hawaii state highways:

Hawaii State Route 11
Southern route between the towns of Hilo Town in the east and Kailua-Kona Town in the West

Hawaii State Route 19
State Highway connecting the town of Hilo in the East with the Paniolo Country town of Waimea (aka Kamuela).

Hawaii State Route 190
State Highway connecting the inland town of Waimea (aka Kamuela) with the town of Kailua Kona on the west coast. There is also a coastal route between the two towns that includes segments of State Route 270 in North Kohala and State Route 19 along the coast.
