Halloween on Hawaii Island

Saint Joseph's Country Fair
Held every year at Saint Joseph's High School in Hilo. Live entertainment, local food, silent auction, and arts and crafts, carnival games for kids, plants, produce, and raffles.

Wayfinding and Navigation Festival
Explores oceanic wayfinding, a traditional system of navigating the open ocean without the use of instrumentation, using conceptw of astronomy, oceanography, meteorology, and ecology. Held at the Imiloa Astronomy Center ih Hilo.

The Big Island edition of the Hawaii=wide Hawaii Food and Wine Festival is usually held in September or October.
