Big Island Luaus

Where to find a Hawaiian luau on Hawaii Island. Big Island luaus include Fairmont Orchid Luau, the Kona Village Luau, the Royal Kona Resort Luau, the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Luau, and the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Luau. The last time I checked there were five large hotel luaus on the Big Island and each one was produced by one of two luau production companies.

Firenesia Luau
The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Hotel luau is called the "Firenesia" luau and it is produced by Island Breeze.

Gathering of Kings Luau
The luau at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel is called the "Gathering of Kings" luau and it is produce by Island Breeze. Kona Village Luau
The oldest continuously running luau on the Big Island has been popular with visitors for more then 25 years.

Royal Kona Resort Luau
The "Lava Legend and Legacies Luau and Revue" is produced by Tihati Productions, and it takes place in the hotel's oceanfront coconut grove.

Royal Luau at Anaehoomalu Bay
The Luau at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa is called the Royal Waikoloa Luau and it advertises itself as being the most authentic luau. The luau lasts about 2.5 hour and the price includes a buffet dinner, shell lei greeting, and a Polynesian show.
