Big Island Hawaiian Music Festival
Honolulu Family Festival
Annual event at Ala Moana Beach Park
that takes place in July or August.
The 2009 Honolulu Festival took place Thursday,
July 30, 2009 through Sunday, August 2, 2009.
The event featured carvinal rides, puppet shows,
acrobat performances, and live entertainment by
the Royal Hawaiian Band, comedian Frank DeLima,
Henry Kapono, Holunape, Nina Kealiiwahamana, Marlene Sai,
Kapena, Bev Noa, Karen Keawehawaii, Misty Kelai, Iwalani
Kamahele, the Gregg Hammer Band, and others.
Kauai Music Festival
A four day songwriter's convention featuring
songwriting workshops led by professional writers,
an optional songwriting contest, one-on-one consultations,
with professional songwriters, round table discussions,
open microphone sessions, and free time for writing songs.
The event usually takes place in July or August.
The 2009 Kauai Music Festival took place July 29 through
August 1, 2009.
Lahaina Plantation Days
Three day celebration of the West Maui's rich plantation
history. The Inaugural Lahaina Plantation Days celebration took
place July 30 through August 1, 2009.
Kauai Concert in the Sky
Takes place every year on the 4th of July
at the Vindinha Soccer Field on Hoolako Street in Lihue.
Features live music, family activities,
food from some of Kauai's top restaurants,
and a nighttime fireworks display.
The event is a fundraiser for the Kauai Hospice
and adult tickets typically cost $10 in advance
and $15 at the gate. The 20th Annual Kauai Concert in the Sky
event will take place July 4, 2009.
Koloa Plantation Days
This West Kauai island festival is a celebration
of Kauai's plantation and paniolo heritage. The
event takes place in Koloa town
features a rodeo, traditional Hawaiian games,
and a parade. The 25th Annual Koloa Plantation Days Festival
event will take place July 18-26, 2009.
Korean Festival of Hawaii
Annual festival that takes place every July at the
Kapiolani Park Bandstand in Waikiki. The 2009
Korean Festival of Hawaii will take place on
July 11, 2009.
Haleiwa Arts Festival
Hawaii Volcanoes Cultural Festival
Annual festival in Hawaii Volcanoes National
Park founded to preserve and perpetuate Hawaiian
culture and traditional Hawaiian arts. Features
Hawaiian music, cultural demonstrations, and craft sales.

Lahaina 4th of July Fireworks
Every year, on the 4th of July, there is an old fashioned
Independence Day celebration in Lahaina, Maui with live
music and a fireworks display over the town.
The fireworks can be viewed from boats chartered out
of Lahaina Harbor and on land throughout Lahaina Town.
Lanai Pineapple Festival
Annual Lanai Island festival that takes place on the 4th of July.
Features live entertainment, a pineapple eating contest,
a fireworks display, and other activities.
The 16th Annual Lanai Pineapple Festival
will take place on July 4, 2009.

Annual half day music fstival in
Kapiolani Park that is organized
every year by Honolulu ukulele

Great Waikoloa 4th of July Celebration
Annual fundraiser for United Cerebral Palsy of
Hawaii that takes place at the Waikoloa Resort
on Hawaii Island. The event takes place
every year on the 4th of July and it features
a rubber ducky race, all-day live entertainment,
fun activities for children adults, food,
and a fireworks display at night over Kings Lake.
