Golfers can save money by playing at one of
Hawaii's municipal golf courses instead of playing at
an expensive resort or country club. Golfing fees
are higher for visitors then for residents at Hawaii's
municipal golf courses, but even so, you will pay an
average of $40 per round at these courses. This is
very reasonable when compared to the $100-$200
charged by some of Hawaii's top golf resorts. The
municipal courses typically have more residents
visitors and tee-times can fill up fast. Try to call at
least a week in advance to book your game.
There are eight municipal golf courses in Hawaii, six on the
island of Oahu, one on the island of Maui, one on the island
of Kauai, and one on the Big Island of Hawaii.
